Are all of the old posts gone?  How about the ones that were still open?

All the old posts are archived in the forum backup on our file server here. I've been looking for a way to migrate the posts from the old forum to this one but it's not looking like I can do that easily. I know this is not very ideal but the Flarum platform was proving to be unstable as it was being used more and more.

The other idea would be to pull the useful postings out and I can turn them into new posts or help center articles.

Being on this new platform where Zendesk is managing the hosting and scaling of said hosting is much better since they have more server resources than we do and I won't have to be "nursing" the forum along like I was with Flarum.

It would be great if you could list the open items and some of the old "closed" ones that had a lot of useful information.

It's not that easy since it requires a server to run it on, meaning to get the information I have to spin up a server to host the forum on internally just so it can render.

Its just a database file and the hosting files right now. Its not flat HTML files that you can read with a normal browser. I wish there was a quicker way to do it but there is not. Sorry to disappoint you.

I understand.  Just trying to see if the past could be moved to the present.

Hope to use the new system and see the improvements

I've been using google cache to read old posts, but that is not a long term fix.

    Which posts in particular?

    Timothy,

    1. I keep struggling with getting my prints to center after the upgrade. There were some old post that google found, I was able to read them using cached versions. Making sure the slicer was set to 220x220 helped get it closer, but prior to the upgrade I had it set to 235x235 with no issues centering prints.

    2. Offsets for BLtouch - that info is widely available but I think I saw a cached version as well.

    3. My BLtouch wiring was not the same color as in the instructions, or the altnerate colors in the instructions, so was looking for what to do when your wires are different..

    All of those were cached.

I've attempted to spin up a box here to try and pull forum data but it's not spinning up on a new webserver. I'll revisit it at a later time but I think they may be stuck in the backup until I can figure out how to get it running on another webserver here to pull information from.
