What LCD do I have? #
Creality uses color LCDs with a rotary encoder on the Ender 3 V2 and Ender 3 S1. There are multiple known vendors for these LCDs but you cannot determine which one you have unless you remove the back from the LCD housing. Below are pictures of the different LCDs.
The VIEWE and TJC LCDs are NOT updatable at all so if you have one and want to use our firmware and/or products that require a firmware update you will need to replace the LCD with our 12864 Kit. See below for links to the conversion kits.
Converting to a 12864 #
Currently, our firmware only works correctly (and most other Marlin firmware aside from stock) with the DWIN & DACAI version. The VIEWE and TJC LCDs are not supported due to Creality locking it down and likely will never be.
If you have a VIEWE or TJC LCD currently or want to switch to the highly reliable 12864 LCD and want to use our firmware and/or upgrades on your Ender Series printer then you can replace the LCD with a 12864 LCD kit that we carry.
