Duet doesn’t have a built-in M48 gcode command. You can make your own by making a file in the SYS (aka system) folder named M48.g. Paste the below text into that file and save it. Then send M48 to your printer. It will take 10 probe readings and give you the deviation that the probe is reporting.
This code was from the Duet Forum and tested on a Duet printer in our shop. When you send a M48 it will ask you to confirm the start of the test and it will home the printer (G28) before testing. Make sure your printer bed is CLEAR before starting the test.
M291 P"Probe will be tested 10 times and return mean and standard deviation. Ok or Cancel?" R"WARNING" S3 ; User must click OK or cancel.
